Post-Hospital
Rehabilitation and Restorative Care
A Pathway to Recovery
For those who need time to recover following a stay in the hospital, Bryn Mawr Terrace offers short-term rehabilitation services. Quality therapy services are offered by caring, licensed therapists up to seven days a week. Physical therapy and occupational therapy gyms offer challenges that allow residents to maximize their mobility prior to returning home. Speech therapy services are also available.
Our rehabilitation services offer cost-effective medical management and physical rehabilitation. The center is an alternative for those well enough to leave an acute-care hospital but not yet well enough to return home.
The services are coordinated among dedicated nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and social services professionals. A pathway to recovery is charted for each resident resulting in individualized care plans and one-on-one treatments that focus on measurable outcomes. Delivered from a dedicated therapy center, the goal of the rehabilitation program is to help residents improve their quality of life and safely return to an independent, active lifestyle. For those who complete their initial therapy routine but can still benefit from continued attention from our staff, our restorative care program is appropriate. The program supplements physical and occupational therapy with individualized exercise routines, which are guided by trained restorative staff. |
